# Acorn Blinds – New Website

Acorn Blinds are blinds and shutter specialists based in Glanmire. With over 15 years experience in the blinds industry, they have fitted thousands of blinds and shutters all to perfection.

Acorn Blinds aim to provide consumers with superior quality window coverings at the most cost-effective prices available. They are dedicated to serving their customers with quality merchandise backed by warranty and efficient service. They had a very basic website when they came to use that made it difficult for potential clients to find what they were looking for. The new website was built for two core purposes. To increase leads for installations of the products and also to increase sales of the product itself.  The website was built with design in mind. It is fully mobile optimised and on both desktop and mobile it has a unique layout that focuses strongly on user experience, SEO and a clean modern design. [contact us](https://3b1.ie/case-study/acornblinds/)

OUR GOALS FOR ACORN BLINDS

# Goals

## 01

Design a website that communicated the high-quality brand and ethos of Acorn Blinds

## 02

Neatly organise the many categories of products for ease of access for potential customers from their first visit

## 03

Increase the sale of products

## 04

Create an easy to use website for the clients to continue to update and edit without developer input

## Our Approach

After meeting with Acorn Blinds we designed the home page, about page, eCommerce pages, contact page and general content pages. After several designs and ongoing collaboration, the designs and menu structure were approved and we started coding.

The website was built with a really strong focus on user experience and customer experience throughout giving it a competitive edge against competitor websites. This was taken into consideration at the start of the project and was followed through throughout the process of building the website and on the website moving forward.

It’s easy for users to read about and get in contact with the most relevant individual to their needs at Acorn Blinds![](https://3b1.ie/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/acornblinds-1)Having dealt with 3B1 media on a previous project, when the time came around for a revamp of our website, I knew that Clip were the people I needed to talk to! Mark, Christian and the team could visualise what we were looking for and from start to finish, made the whole process flawless. The end result was fantastic package, website and support from a fantastic group of people.
