Having A Ball Dress Hire is a well-established dress hire business in London that caters to high-end clients, celebrities and sports stars such as Serena Williams and other winners and female tennis athletes who take part in Wimbledon.
They had an outdated website that was difficult to navigate, needed a developer to make even small changes such as adding blog posts and didn’t reflect the quality of their brand. However, they also had very strong rankings on search engines such as Google which we were very keen to keep and even improve upon. Another challenge we faced was working with a client without any face to face meetings as they were based in London.contact us

Ensure that it was easy to make small edits to the website such as content and images of new dresses as well as the adding and editing of blog posts (and to provide any training needed)

Our Approach
We went back and forth over email and telephone to get a good feel for what Elizabeth wanted from her website and the type of style that would work best for her brand and find out what special features would be necessary. Then we sent her several design options for the home page, after some minor tweaks we received the go-ahead to design the rest of the website based on the home page and to start coding.
We built the new website on the WordPress content management system for ease of use and provided written and video tutorials for Elizabeth and her team to follow for any simple edits they wanted to make to the site and for posting blogs.
Before going live, we carried out keyword research to determine what the most important search terms for Having A Ball Dress Hire were. We then optimised all of the metadata on the website to align with our goal of keeping old rankings while also making improvements.
