We have worked with Douglas Forest and Garden for years. In that time we have designed and developed their website, ran many successful digital marketing campaigns on AdWords and Facebook as well as helping to boost their natural search rankings with search engine optimisation campaigns. The latest challenge we were set by DFG was in relation to their range of BERG go karts and trampolines and was the most ambitious to date.

The Challenge

  • Drive traffic at a profitable cost per customer for Douglas Forest and Gardens range of kids go karts and trampolines.
  • Increase brand awareness and further associate the DFG brand with the aforementioned range of toys.
  • Increase the sale of accessories for the go kart and trampoline line of products.

Our Approach

We decided that the best course of action was a combined effort of Google AdWords features and on site optimisation of the website.

1 – We designed a Google AdWords and Google shopping campaign to give Douglas Forest and Garden maximum visibility in Google Search when potential customers were looking for their products.


2 – We developed a banner ad remarketing campaign and a dynamic remarketing campaign to ensure that any visitor to a products page on douglasforestandgarden.ie saw display advertisements for those particular products across Google’s display network, channeling potential buyers back into the sales funnel and giving us more opportunities to turn them into a sale.


3 – We developed an upsell system for the DFG website which presented customers with the relevant accessories accompanying each product after they added a go kart or trampoline to their online shopping cart, giving users useful options that would go well with their purchase.


The Results – Campaign Running Time: March 3rd 2017 To May 3rd 2017 (Ongoing)

Total phone call enquiries tracked – 132

Total traffic generated to the website – 8,642 Visitors

Total banner ad impressions – 173,581

Estimated increase in store footfall versus the same period in 2016 – 200%

Total increase in sales versus the same period in 2016 – 366%
