Ecommerce Web Design Cork – Our Process

At 3B1 Media & Marketing, we create fully custom elegant ecommerce websites that are designed specifically to streamline the purchasing process and generate the most sales possible for your business. We have a very particular process that allows us to meet all of our clients needs and expectations in a flexible and timely manner. Here’s how we achieve that.

Step 1: Initial Meeting

Before we begin designing your ecommerce website, it’s important to us that we meet with you to discuss what you would like to get out of the project and to get an initial grasp on your industry to help us create something that works to generate sales for your business. This also gives us a chance to discuss the design aesthetics you are going for and how you would like your site to be laid out. We will also bring our years of experience to this meeting & guide in what we believe will be best for your business.

Step 2: Creation Of Initial Designs

Based on our initial meeting, we develop the design of your new website using Photoshop. Once we have finished the design, we then show it to you for your approval. If you would like any changes, we take them into account and start the design process again. Using Photoshop for this stage means that making edits is simple and quick as we don’t have to re-code the entire site if you would like some changes. Then once the design is approved, we can move on to the next step.

Step 3: Building The Site

Once you are happy with the design, we can get started on the building phase. We will integrate WooCommerce into the site to make it quick and easy to add products, categories and to put items on sale. We generally incorporate Stripe as the payment processor for our ecommerce sites as their high security, low fees and ease of checkout for customers makes them a fantastic choice. However, if you would like to use a different payment processor we can happily work with them instead. This phase also allows us to build full social media functionality into your website. This is a fantastic way of getting your business in front of more people as it allows users to easily share your products directly to their social media.

Step 4: Training

Once the website build is complete we offer training to you or your staff members so that you are comfortable using the site at no extra cost. This comes in very useful whenever you need to make slight changes to the website like adding imagery, posting blogs, uploading products, creating product categories and putting items on sale. This training also saves you money long-term as you won’t have to contact us to carry out these tasks which can incur additional fees.

Step 5: Adding Products

As mentioned previously we will teach you how to add products to your website yourself. There is also the option of having us upload all of your products to your new ecommerce site. However, you will save money by handling this phase yourself.

Ecommerce Web Design Cork – Examples Of Previous Happy Clients

We have developed quite a few ecommerce websites over the years and we always aim to make all of our clients happy with the project and to substantially increase their online sales. Here are a few examples of our previous happy clients.

1: Douglas Forest & Garden

Douglas Forest & Garden is a lawn and garden machinery company based in Frankfield, Co. Cork. We worked with them to develop a beautiful new fully custom ecommerce website that helps create a good representation of the company online and boost their internet sales.

“Mark and his team were instrumental in our business the last 2-3 years in the way we do digital advertising and I must say are the main reason our business grew to what it is today. Mark’s knowledge and advice is second to none.

2 websites later and many many ad campaigns prove how good this company is. Both our businesses Douglas forest and Garden and Arborist .ie will continue using Mark and his team as the formula works!”

2: Music Zone

Music Zone’s primary business is selling vinyl records and they are based in Douglas Village shopping centre. We designed and built a magnificent fully custom ecommerce website so they could expand their business and boost their sales nationally. Music Zone’s website had to be particularly robust as they have a huge selection of vinyl records and CD’s available for purchase online, currently over 3,500 different products. Their site not only looks great and drives their online sales but it also doesn’t show any strain or speed impediments despite the huge number of items for sale.

“I spent the best part of 2015 trying to find a company to help us drive on our online business, after meeting with 5 or 6 companies during the year, I was not really happy with any of them for various reasons. Then Mark Flavin and 3B1 Media were recommended to me via word of mouth, a customer of mine had used 3B1 and found them excellent, so I gave Mark a call.

Mark and 3B1 from the get go were professional, prompt, efficient, friendly and easy to deal with. We have a brand new website, integrated stock control for site and shop floor and we are seeing results and we did not have a massive budget. December 2015 and January 2016 showed great growth on the website, our customers love it and we are finding new customers daily. Here at musiczone.ie we are delighted to have chosen Mark and 3B1.”
